MDP Financing Energy Efficiency Projects organizes on UPES Campus
The Center of Energy Economics Research (CEER) of College of Management and Economics Studies, UPES and Centre for Management Development (CMD) in association with Uttarakhand Renewable Development Agency (UREDA) and Alliance for Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE), an industry led membership based organization, organized a Management Development Programs on 19th – 20th June, 2015. 10 participants of early/mid-career professional from different designated consumers and government organizations representing Century Pulp and Paper, Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL), Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL), Uttarakhand Renewable Development Agency (UREDA) attended the program.
The program was prepared in consultation with Mr. A.K. Tyagi, CPO, UREDA and Dr. Koshy Cherail, President, AEEE to achieve the key objectives such as to develop understanding of policy and regulatory issues for maximizing business opportunities and profitability, how to benefit for Make in India – where are the new opportunities emerging, to provide an introduction to EE Financing and developing bankable Detail Project Reports (DPRs), to enhance abilities for understanding various aspects of project management through the application of Indian and International Standards and Protocols.
