UPES has undertaken a number of Community Outreach Programs like adoption of 5 nearby village schools, adoption of 16 girls. These girls are the adopted daughters of UPES and supported for their education and development by the University. UPES is providing material support in the form of computers, furniture, stationery etc. to fully support their educational expenses. Now and then, these daughters are provided with opportunities to get maximum exposure to grasp skills required in any well groomed child. Last year, they were provided with the chance of their lifetime to visit the high dome seat of authority, the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi and meet the then President Her Excellency, Smt. A series of personality development programs for the benefit of the UPES's daughters aimed at increasing their confidence level by improving their communication and grooming their over all personality were organized.

Summer trip to Delhi

In our endeavor to groom the daughters, they were taken on a fun trip to Delhi/NCR. The effort was to give them a feel of the big city and the glitter of metro town & the national capital region. During the visit they were taken to 'Kingdom of Dreams,' relished a variety of food from various States, enjoyed Magic show, Puppet show and mesmerizing architecture & artificial sky besides, the Musical show “JHUMROO.” They were accompanied by the wife of Vice Chancellor, UPES Ms. Shalini Diwan, Dr. Mandira Agarwal and team CSR and Smt.
