Scintillating 10th Convocation of UPES welcomed
Shri Sudhir Vasudeva,
Chairman & Managing Director, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation
and Hon’ble Justice P.V. Reddi, Chairman, Law Commission of
India on Campus on 1st June 2012.
Addressing students on the occasion,
Shri S Vasudeva said “that India is on a progressive path.
The three important issues which will enable the smooth
progress are: enabling policy, value added products &
services, and trained skilled manpower. He further said
“The take away for young professionals like you is that a
great future awaits for you as you join our quest for
India’s energy security...” Shri Vasudeva showed his
extreme satisfaction on the standard of students being
created by UPES.
Speaking on the occasion, Justice P.
V. Reddi praised the University for creating an excellent
learning environment. He appreciated the speed of
development of knowledge and that of IT. He pointed out
that Law is a multidisciplinary course and will be very
useful in the new economic culture which requires clean and
transparent administration.
