Candidates with minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and in graduation can seek admission to a UPES – MBA programs by taking the UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET).

Non Examination Pathway – MBA admissions through National Level Tests

If you fulfill our eligibility criteria (Minimum 50 % marks in class 10th and 12th, as well as in graduation - Appeared but Result awaited can also apply) and have any of the following test scores
  • Sept MAT 2017 score of minimum 75 percentile
  • December MAT 2017 score of minimum 75 percentile

** Upto 50% seats shall be filled through National Level Tests category. Incase candidates for such seats are not available, UPES has the right to fill these seats through UPES Entrance Test. University also reserves the right to conduct further physical (paper pencil test) for admission post March ' 2018.

Reservation of Seats

For Uttarakhand Bonafide resident candidates : 15 % of the seats in all program will be reserved for resident of Uttarakhand subject to producing of "Sthai Niwas Praman Patra certificate" .These Seats will be filled by separate merit list declared for Uttarakhand resident candidates.However in the event of the seats remaining unfilled by the stipulated date in the above mentioned category the same shall be treated as unreserved.

Note: Candidates applying under this category would be required to produce the original “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” during the day of admission failing which their candidature shall stand cancelled.

Take the Test As Per Your Convenience

UPESEEE is a completely online test with no pen paper version. The unique feature of this test is that the aspirant can take the test from any convenient location with an internet connected PC/ laptop and a webcam, be it your home, office or even a cyber café. The test will be centrally proctored to ensure the integrity of the test process is not compromised.
Applicants who have filled the online form and paid the fees will be shared the designated test date and time slot through email at least 24 hours before the test date. The email will also contain a username and password along with detailed instructions to take the test. Candidates will appear for the ONLINE test by logging in with their credentials from their system connected with a webcam and an internet connection.

ADMISSION PROCESS  

Non Exam Eligibility Criteria

CLAT Merit / L-SAT India Merit

For BA LLB (Hons.)/ BBA LLB (Hons.)/ B.Com, LLB (Hons)- Candidates with minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th) and CLAT ranking upto 10000/ L-SAT India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude test and will be invited directly for GD and Interview.

For B. Tech LLB (Hons.) Candidates with minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th), minimum 50% Marks in PCM at Senior Secondary Level (12th) and CLAT ranking upto 10000/ L-SAT India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UPES-EAT and admissions through Merit Ranking.

 Admit Card (to be downloaded from UPES website)

On the basis of information in the Application form, admit card of provisionally eligible candidates will be uploaded on the University website www.upes.ac.in in 10th May, 2018. Candidates are required to download the admit card accordingly. The duly completed downloaded admit card with photograph affixed (duly attested) in the space provided will have to be produced at the allotted test center. Candidates without the admit card or card without the photograph will NOT be permitted to take the test.

 

Age Criteria

Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1996 are eligible to apply for admission(As per Bar Council of India). Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

 

Domicile Benefits

15% of seats in all programs (subject to merit) are reserved for domiciled students from Uttarakhand subject to production of domicile certificate. However, in event of the seats remaining unfilled, the same shall be treated as unreserved.

UPES has provision for providing 25% concession on Tuition Fee for Uttarakhand domicile students on merit-cum-means basis, to be decided by the University subject to fulfillment of the following conditions by the student:

The student’s gross annual family income to less than Rs. 3 lakhs. The student should possess necessary documents attesting this fact

The student should be in possession of a valid ‘SthaiNiwasPramanPatra’ from Uttarakhand state.

The student should have done schooling and passed Class X and Class XII from Uttarakhand (this condition may be relaxed for wards of Defence personnel’s, subject to production of posting certificate outside the state issued by competent authority)
