Trained on a wide variety of technical concepts involving design analysis and manufacturing of Airplanes, Rockets, Missiles, Space Launch Vehicles, UAVs, etc, UPES aero-engineers are performing ahead with time. Recently a couple of them have been awarded at various competition for performing best in the area. These include NASA Systems Engineering Award. Among others, few were involved in creating in-house UPESSAT – UPES Nano Satellite Flight Test by creating a prototype using a weather balloon at low altitude test, which is the first nano satellite made in Uttarakhand.
