Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following position for the research project entitled "Development of a novel technology for production of hydrocarbon fuels from mixed Plastic waste" funded by Department of Science & Technology (DST)-SERB, Government of India, New Delhi for a period of three years.

General Terms and Conditions: 

  1. The position is purely temporary and is coterminous with the project. 
  2. The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. 
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained. 
  4. The candidate is expected to join immediately, if selected. 
  5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Experience :

0 Year 0 Month - 5 Year 0 Month

Qualification:

 

 

Essential

  1. Degree in Sciences or Engineering (from Chemical Engg./Energy Sci. and Engg/Renewable Energy/Organic Chemistry), with GATE or NET score.
  2. Minimum 55% or equivalent CGPA in preceding degree.

 

 

Desirable

  1. Experience in biomass conversion technologies, reactor design, MATLAB modeling, catalyst synthesis through wet/dry chemical route and knowledge of materials characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM etc. 
  2. Demonstrated experience in pyrolysis, furnace handling, engine testing etc. Would be an added advantage.
