Duration of Program 3 years (6 semesters)
The BA in Event Management, PR & Corporate Communications at UPES has been designed to achieve two outcomes:
- To train students in planning, designing & execution of events of all sizes and types. In addition to the process of event management, they will be also be taught about the financial and planning aspects of it. Students will get practical exposure via opportunities to work on real events such as exhibitions, fairs, conferences, cultural meets, and many more.
- To provide a thorough understanding of public relations and corporate communications to students so that they can build successful careers in this constantly evolving field. In addition to the core modules that are PR and media-specific, the program will also cover more general communication topics such as English, Marketing, Writing, Media Theory and Broadcast Journalism.
This intense course offers students the opportunity to specialize not just in one, but two areas, both of which offer many opportunities to well-trained professionals.
- Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
Students appearing in class XII and awaiting result can also apply.
Shortlisted candidates will be given a provisional offer letter.
Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1998 are eligible to apply for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.
