  1. Contribution: First derivation of Nutting’s law in rheology, Lomnitz’s creep law in seismology, and Curie-von Schweidler law in materials science, from physical principles using the framework of fractional derivatives.
  2. Interests: Interdisciplinary research using the mathematical framework of Fractional Calculus. Wave propagation in complex, multiphasic, non-Newtonian, poro-visco-elastic media. Nonlinear bubble dynamics and chaos. Applications to seismic exploration. Modeling of fluid flow and percolation through complex fractal networks. Mathematical modelling of ecology-evolution feedback and speciation.
