The World Bank with the support from GEF [Global Environment Facility] has designed the MSME Energy Efficiency project for Energy Efficiency in India.

 

Objective: To increase demand for energy efficiency investments in target micro, small and medium enterprise clusters and to build their capacity to access commercial finance.

 

Co-Implemented by: Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE)

 

The Scope of work under the project:

  • Conducting walk-through audit

  • Conducting detailed energy audits and Finalising recommendations of DEA

  • Preparation of IGDPRs and Endorsement of IGDPRs by the respective MSMEs

  • Facilitation and implementation support EE projects

 

Student Project(s) Guided:

  • Designing a Free Energy Generator via Integrated Utilization of the Solar Photovoltaic Module and Magnet System;

  • Prototype of Intelligent Traffic management solution using Internet of Things (IoT);

  • Air Purification System for Indoor Pollution;

  • Modelling of Solar PV module in the environment of partial shading using MATLAB/SIMULINK;

  • Auto-sensing moisture control for a photo-voltaic based Irrigation system;

  • Modelling and Simulation of boost converter implemented solar photovoltaic system;

     

Research Contribution Interest:

1. Modelling and Simulation of Photovoltaic based Distributed Power System [ Standalone & Grid-tied]

2. Interconnection Strategies for partially shaded Solar Photo-voltaic system
