When the COVID-19 lockdown cut off work for migrant labourers, UPES distributed dry ration family packs to 1,000 migrant-worker families in six rural locations.
Each pack held enough food for a family of four for about 8 to 10 days, and the drive reached more than 4,000 people.
Food for families who lost their income overnight.
