About

Dr Nidhi Chauhan and her team at the School of Health Sciences and Technology were awarded a grant from BIRAC to establish the SWACHH (Social Wellness, Agriculture, Clean and Hospitable Habitat) Incubation Centre at UPES.

It is one of the first SPARSH-BIRAC centres in Uttarakhand. Over five years, it will mentor fellows and social innovators working on farm-to-plate solutions, climate resilience and public health.
