Creches on both campuses

UPES runs a dedicated creche on each of its campuses, Bidholi and Kandoli, for the young children of students and staff. They give children a designated, child-friendly space within the campus and makes it easier for parents to study and work.

Impact

Parents can study and work knowing their children are close and cared for, and every student knows where to turn for help.

Committees that protect students and staff

University-wide committees make sure that concerns are heard and acted on:

A Support Centre for Minority Groups near a main campus corridor gives students a dedicated place to seek guidance, counselling or a supportive conversation.

Health care and safety

Both campuses run an infirmary that is open around the clock, with an ambulance on standby. Around 250 CCTV cameras feed a central control room staffed day and night, and security staff are trained in first aid, CPR and the use of defibrillators.
