UPES commenced placements activity for its outgoing student’s batch of 2013 in the month of October, 2012. The month of October 2012 saw more than 40 companies visit UPES for recruitments resulting in placements of more than 200 students.

Across the 3 colleges in UPES – Management, Engineering and Law, there are about 1141 students, who are eligible for placements, out of which, nearly 850 students (75% of the total strength) have already been placed with some top notch companies across the sector. Some of the major recruiters as on date are, Schlumberger, Halliburton, Shell India, TCS, Cairn India Ltd, Accenture, Infosys, L&T Integrated Engineering Services, Sabre Holdings, Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T ECC, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra Satyam, Gammon India, GVK MIAL, Sapient, GSPL, Mahanagar Gas, Petrofac, Royal Enfield, NYK Line India ltd, ITC Ltd, Total Oil, Wipro, Technip and Trilegal. The highest CTC offered till date is INR 16 lacs per annum by reputed international oil major

Pick of these recruiters are Air India SATS, a JV of Air India and Singapore Airport Terminal Services, known as Air India Sats Airport Services Private Ltd. This ground handling company visited the UPES campus for the first time and recruited more than 50 students across domains like Aviation and Logistics

Continuing with its track record of superlative placements, another milestone was created on a single day, when 100+ students from various undergraduate and post graduate programs focused on the Energy Sector got placements. The recruiter was, Greka Drilling a Hong Kong based corporate with exploration and refining interests across a number of continents. UPES students from various programs in Oil & Gas were picked up on a single day adding to the excitement and joy of the outgoing batch of 2013.
