Served the Army in the Corps of “Electronics & Mechanical Engineers”, (the Equipment Managers for the Armed Forces) for 31 years, during which he has had rich experience in:

  • Command Appointments at all levels
  • Chief of Engineering Activities in an Operational Army Aviation Base in Hostile Environment
  • Field Experience in maintenance of Army equipment ranging from Helicopters to Tanks, Guns and sophisticated integrated weapon systems.
  • Staff Appointments at all levels. Significantly:
    1. As Director Training, Army Headquarters”, Delhi responsible for training & development of Technical Manpower for Indian Army at Four Training establishments with a capacity of 7000 trainees at any point of time.
    2. As Director EME Aviation, responsible for Engineering Support & Quality Assurance, & Officer In-charge, trials, induction, and training of airborne electronic warfare unit.
  • Extensive Instructional Experience during which have been Dean of the Faculty of Aeronautical Engineering.
