Specialisations

At the School of Health Sciences and Technology, UPES we are offering two specialisations in M.Sc.

  1. Dietetics and Holistic Wellness
  2. Nutraceutical and Nutrition Policy

These specialisations have been curated keeping in mind the increasing demand for dieticians and public health policymakers.

For a student to specialised in Dietetics and Holistic Wellness, he/she must opt for Program electives from the Dietetics and Holistic Wellness basket in Semester II (PE I) and Semester III (PE II and PE III), respectively. Each PE holds 3 credits.

By pursuing the M.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics - Holistic Wellness specialisation, students will gain advanced expertise to prevent, treat, and manage diseases while promoting holistic well-being. In addition to the Holistic Wellness specialisation, we offer a specialisation in Nutraceutical and Nutrition Policy within the M.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics program. Moreover, it focuses on the crucial role of nutrition policy in improving the health and well-being of communities.
