Preparing to navigate the changing global economy is crucial for success. This BBA Global program enables students to study for two years at the UPES campus and one year at an overseas university.
This BBA with specialization in Global Program 2 + 1 course introduces students to management and covers subjects such as Business Communication, Finance and Accounting, Digital Economy, Human Resource Management, Statistics, and Emerging Technologies, to name a few.
Students study the essentials of strategic management, research methodology and report writing, and comparative country studies. They learn life skills through subjects like Ethical Leadership in the 21st Century and, Managing Relationships and Being Happy. Internships and industrial visits form an integral part of the program.
Classroom activities involve lectures and active discussions, encouraging students to get involved and provide their inputs. These activities are supplemented by group discussions and cooperative group solving problems. Class participation is a fundamental aspect of this course. Students are encouraged to participate in all group activities. Learning through peer and self-exploration of diverse and challenging subjects is nurtured.
Such comprehensive pedagogy builds effective, solution-oriented leaders who can adapt and make the best of today’s business landscape.

UPES’ curriculum framework is holistic in its overall structure and yet focuses on the individual need of the student to discover, experience, explore and challenge. Along with the core subject, students have the option to choose from subject-focused specialisations. They are also allowed to choose minor/exploratory subject from other schools at UPES that are: School of Engineering, School of Computer Science, School of Law, School of Business, School of Health Sciences, School of Design, School of Modern Media, and School of Liberal Studies.
Further, based on the multifaceted needs of the global workplace and evolving lifestyles, the curriculum offers Signature and Life-Skills courses through School for Life. To round off this learning experience, students are required to do mandatory internships in the social sector, government/public sector, and industry. The combinations available for students to pick and choose from are endless, ensuring both depth and width of knowledge.

- Students will understand the application of demand and supply analysis to take appropriate decisions in foreign trade industry.
- Students will be able to analyse the production and cost structure under different stages of production in foreign trade industry.
- Demonstrate the understanding of the pricing and output decisions under various market structure.
- To apply the various decision tools to understand the market structure.
- CO1: To understand the concepts of cost, nature of production and its relationship to Business operations.
- CO2: To apply marginal analysis to the “firm” under different market conditions.
- CO3: To analyze the causes and consequences of different market conditions.
- CO4: To integrate the concept of price and output decisions of firms under various market
structure.
