- The primary aim of this LLB specialisation is to form a whole new batch of corporate lawyers, who not only have an in-depth knowledge of the business as a whole but also understand the intricacies of the corporate laws and regulatory affairs.
- Corporate Law includes the rules, practices, and regulations that govern the formation as well as the operation of corporations. Thus, in simple words, Corporate Laws deal with forming, owning, operating and managing a corporation.

L.L.B ADMISSION PROCESS 2020 – Through class 12 Board marks
(As per revised admission notification dated 3 Aug. 2020)
In light of the ongoing pandemic situation due to COVID-19, and keeping in mind the safety of the prospective students and parents, UPES entrance test for LLB programs – ULSAT 2020 stands cancelled. Non exam pathway admission process through CLAT/LSAT – India will be conducted as per the notification issued earlier.
As per the revised selection process for applicants who have applied through ULSAT 2020 examination pathway for admissions to LLB program for AY 2020 will be done on the basis of 10+2 central/state board results.

Applicants will be considered for the respective round of selection process as per the defined timelines.

One applicant will be processed only for one round of the selection process.

In case the results of the applicant's state board examinations are not yet declared, the applicant may upload his/her marks as soon as the board results get declared and he/she will be considered for next round of the selection process

State boards students are advised to submit only class 12 marks (in case class 11 marks are also added to calculate board percentage)

Seat allotment for the respective round will be declared as per the defined timelines.

Seat allotment process will be based on merit order and seat availability in the desired program

In case of the Tie at 10+2 PCM score/percentage the weightage will be given to DOB and candidate who is older in age will get preference to be rated higher in merit list

One applicant will be processed only in one selection process round

Round 2 merit list will be declared on the basis of the seat availability in the respective program

Eligibility Criteria: 75% marks in class X & XII
Scholarship:
- 50% tuition fee waiver on 10% seats of each program in first Semester for CBSE, ICSE & State Board pass out students
- 25% of tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in first year 3. Special Scholarship
Uttarakhand State Board Toppers Scholarships in LLB Program
Eligibility criteria:
- Minimum 80% marks in each of X, XII class and PCM for B.Tech and 80% aggregate for BBA and Law in Class X & XII in UK State Board
- 150 toppers from UK State Board
- Merit order allotment of 1 seat per program.
- The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand Resident students.
- Should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate)
- Students will be entitled only for 1 scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Toppers or through Uttarakhand Resident category)
- Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per merit scholarship policy of the University
