UPES and IBM join hands to equip MBA professionals with cutting-edge Business Analytics skills

This course has originated through a collaboration between UPES and IT giants IBM, which started off with in 2016 to help MBA students develop the skills required to become the business leaders of the future. Students get exposed to a wealth of knowledge provided by IBM technology experts, engineers, and data scientists. The ultimate goal of this UPES-IBM initiative is to construct the leading Business Analytics graduate program in India.

MBA admissions through UPESMET

Admissions through UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET)
Candidates who have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Class 10th and Class 12th can seek admission to UPES MBA programs by taking the 2018 UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET).

The University reserves the right to make any changes in curricula, degree requirements, course offerings, student intake, and academic regulations, or change the test location at any time without assigning any reason or prior notice. The said change may apply not only to prospective students but also to those who are already enrolled in the University.

MBA admissions through National Level Tests

Candidates must fulfil our eligibility criteria (Minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th, as well as in graduation – “Appeared but Result Awaited” can also apply) and have any of the following test scores:

  • A minimum score of 80% in Sept MAT 2017/December MAT 2017
  • A minimum score of 80% in Feb MAT 2018/May MAT 2018
  • A minimum score of 80% in CMAT 2018
  • A minimum score of 75% in XAT 2018/CAT 2017
  • A minimum score of 140 in NMAT 2017

** Up to 50% of available seats shall be filled through the National Level Tests category. In case the candidates for such seats are not available, UPES reserves the right to fill these seats through the UPES Entrance Test.

** The University reserves the right to change the test date or cancel the test altogether. The university also reserves the right to conduct further tests for admission, after March 2018.

Reservation of Seats

For Uttarakhand Bonafide resident candidates: 15% of the seats in all programs will be reserved for residents of Uttarakhand, subject to the "Sthai Niwas Praman Patra certificate." However, if these seats remain unfilled by the stipulated date in the category mentioned above, then the same shall be treated as unreserved.

Note: Candidates applying under this category would be required to produce the original “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” during the day of admission, failing which their candidature shall stand cancelled.
