B.Sc. in industrial chemistry offered at UPES is a three-year undergraduate course. This course is one of the sought after course due to its immense scope and ever rising popularity in the job sector. The course provides extensive knowledge on the development, optimization, monitoring of various chemical processes that are widely used in industry to convert raw materials into useful commercial products for society. This course allows its aspirant to be ready for industrial filed and public sectors by providing them advanced technical skills with necessary managerial and life skills.

The new curriculum framework at UPES, ABLE (Academic Blueprint for Learning Excellence) is holistic in its overall structure and yet focuses on the individual need of the student to discover, experience, explore and challenge. The learning is segmented into core subject studies, core specialism studies, minors/exploratory subjects, and signature and life skills learning. The latter three are offered by the newly-instituted School for Life.
