1. Financial emoluments (applicable as per the year of contract of the individual DRF)

2. Terms and Conditions
a. Doctoral Fee: PhD fee shall be waived off which is a benefit of Rs. 80,000/- per annum, provided DRF continues to serve UPES till the completion of contractual period. However, in case he leaves UPES before the completion of contract, he shall be liable to pay the PhD fee waived off so far. UPES is also entitled to recover the same from any of the monetary claims that he may have to recover through legal recourse.
b. Teaching Hours: DRF will be required to undertake a minimum of Six Hours of teaching per week, in consultation with the Dean.
c. Resignation / Termination: The University shall have the discretion to discontinue the association prior to completion of the contract by giving one month’s notice or payment of one month’s gross remuneration in lieu of notice. In case DRF resigns prior to completion of contract, it can be done by giving one month’s notice and payment of the PhD fee waived-off so far.
d. Extension of contract: The contractual appointment is for an initial period of three years, extendable by one more year. For this extension, application will be required from DRF explaining the reason why PhD is not completed within stipulated period, to be approved by the Vice Chancellor.The extension will be without the PhD fee waiver.

4. In addition, you will be entitled to reimbursement of railway fare by IInd AC for participation in scientific events / workshops in India.
