Dr. Kumari Youkta

Dr. Youkta holds a PhD in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. Her research focuses on health economics, healthcare systems, health inequalities, and development economics. She has contributed to the field through publications in esteemed national and international journals. With teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Dr. Youkta has taught courses like Microeconomics and International Economics, fostering academic excellence and advancing student development. 

Economics of health, Healthcare system, Health Inequalities and Development Economics 

Dr. Youkta strive to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that bridges academic theory with practical application. She focuses upon fostering critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills to prepare them for real-world challenges. Her teaching methodology incorporates interactive discussions, case studies, and experiential learning to ensure a comprehensive understanding of economic principles. 

Microeconomics and International Economics 

Dr. Youkta has presented her research work in renowned platforms like Population Association of America, Australian Health Economics Society Conference and Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research. She has widely authored in reputed journals listed in SCOPUS, Web of Science and ABDC.
