Nidhi Chauhan 

Dr. Nidhi Chauhan is a distinguished researcher specializing in nanobiotechnology with remarkable expertise in biosensors. Her remarkable expertise has positioned her among the top 2% of researchers globally. With numerous prestigious national and international awards, she is recognized for her significant contributions to the Biosensor field. Through collaborations with influential scientists, including a Nobel laureate, Dr. Chauhan has advanced the frontiers of nanobiotechnology and biosensors, exploring cutting-edge techniques and innovations.

Notably, Dr. Chauhan's commitment extends beyond academic pursuits. She actively strives to apply her research findings for the benefit of society. Understanding the importance of accessible healthcare, she focuses on developing medical technologies that are not only advanced but also affordable and easily accessible to all. Her ongoing efforts promise to substantially contribute to the scientific community, enhancing healthcare accessibility and affordability.

Prior to her role as Senior Associate Professor at the School of Health Sciences and Technology at UPES, Dr. Chauhan served as an Associate Professor at the Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP), and an Assistant Professor at the same institution from 2013 to 2021. Their professional journey also includes positions as a Senior Research Associate and Research Associate at AUUP and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). She began her career as a Biochemistry Lecturer at Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College and Research Centre in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India 2007.

Her expertise covers a wide range of subjects including Basic Bioscience, Biochemistry, Nanoparticle Biomaterial Hybrid Systems, Nano Sensors in Agriculture and Food Industry, Biosensors Fundamentals and Applications, Nanomaterials in Food, Bioscience for Nanotechnology, Biophysics, Biosensors, Diagnostic Applications of Nanomaterials, Advanced Characterization Techniques, Bioanalytical Applications, Nanotoxicology and environment, and Nanomaterials in Medicine. With her comprehensive knowledge in these areas, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to her teaching, providing students with a strong foundation in bioscience and nanotechnology while emphasizing practical applications in various fields.

Dr. Chauhan was selected as the ICMR-DHR International Fellow and ranked No.1 as the Best Scientist in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Amity University. Additionally, Dr. Chauhan received the esteemed SERB International Research Experience Fe llow and was ranked among the top 2% of World Scientists by Stanford University. She has also been honored with a Golden Letter of Appreciation from Nobel Laureate Prof. Barry J. Marshall, the Best Scientist Medal from the IAAM, and the prestigious Shakuntala Amir Chand Award from the ICMR. These and many other accolades highlight her exceptional research contributions and recognition in the scientific community.

Dr. Chauhan actively mentors PhD scholars and Master's students, guiding them in multidisciplinary research. Her work has resulted in the publication of over 125 papers in renowned journals, showcasing her significant contributions to the scientific community. She has held editorial positions in esteemed journals such as MDPI-Molecules, Frontiers in Nutrition, Frontiers in Veterinary Science, and Global Journal of Nanomedicine. She has also served as an Organizing Committee Member for the Advanced Materials World Congress held in Sweden.

She is a member of prominent professional organizations, including the American Chemical Society (ACS), International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), Society of Biological Chemists, The Indian Science Congress Association, and Ion Beam Society of India.
