Work Experience

Prior to her role as Senior Associate Professor at the School of Health Sciences and Technology at UPES, Dr. Chauhan served as an Associate Professor at the Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP), and an Assistant Professor at the same institution from 2013 to 2021. Their professional journey also includes positions as a Senior Research Associate and Research Associate at AUUP and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). She began her career as a Biochemistry Lecturer at Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College and Research Centre in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India 2007.

Dr. Chauhan was selected as the ICMR-DHR International Fellow and ranked No.1 as the Best Scientist in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Amity University. Additionally, Dr. Chauhan received the esteemed SERB International Research Experience Fe llow and was ranked among the top 2% of World Scientists by Stanford University. She has also been honored with a Golden Letter of Appreciation from Nobel Laureate Prof. Barry J. Marshall, the Best Scientist Medal from the IAAM, and the prestigious Shakuntala Amir Chand Award from the ICMR. These and many other accolades highlight her exceptional research contributions and recognition in the scientific community.

Dr. Chauhan actively mentors PhD scholars and Master's students, guiding them in multidisciplinary research.
