International Academic Collaboration
ECE Paris, Founded in 1919, is committed to training students in science and technology, focusing on emerging information and communications technology. ECE Paris is one of the top 3 Engineering schools in France for international recognition. Since 2014 more than 30 exchange activities have been between the universities. UPES and ECE both work together to provide practical experience to students with different projects and research opportunities in Computer Science & Engineering.
The ENSMM is one of the best institutes for training focused on microtechnology. It combines the engineering of micromechanical systems with acoustic-optoelectronic microsystems to design and produce the products of the future. UPES and ENSMM are in collaboration since 2013 and have completed more than 15 exchange activities in the last five years. With a new initiative by UPES, "Virtual Projects", both universities are planning to make a platform for students to learn better in this pandemic through Virtual projects.
Polytech Nantes was established in January 2000. It is a part of the prestigious University of Nantes and a member of the Polytech group which is a network of 15 graduate engineering schools within France's leading science universities located in Marseille, Nantes, Montpellier, Nice, Annecy-Chambéry, Grenoble,ParisUpmc,Paris sud, Clermont-Ferrand, Tours, Lille, Nancy, and Angers. Since 2013, UPES and Polytech Nantes have already completed more than 35 exchange activities with the School of Engineering UPES.
University of Law
ULaw is one of the UK's longest-established specialist providers of legal education. Its origin is from 1876 with the formation of tutorial firm Gibson & Weldon, and in 2016, they opened their leading Business School. With a rich heritage and a reputation for innovation and contemporary teaching practices, ULaw continuously focuses on developing the best legal and business minds. ULaw has a profound collaboration with UPES, where the path of exchanges and researches is open for faculty and students in both schools. ULaw offered a 50% scholarship to UPES 2020 graduating batch for postgraduate programs in Ulaw and Alumni were offered a 35% scholarship which is one of the most significant scholarships offered to any institute graduates.
Memorial University of Newfoundland
The Memorial University of Newfoundland founded in 1925 as a living memorial to Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who died in the First World War. The Memorial University of Newfoundland has six faculties that include arts, education, medicine, engineering, business administration, and science.
UPES students have been regularly visiting for semester exchange and internship in areas like Electrical and electronics components, Computer Science, and Physics from the School of Computer Science and Engineering. Since 2017, more than 35 exchange activities are completed between the universities. UPES and Memorial Univerity have a proposal of Virtual projects in line for practical knowledge of students in the current pandemic.
Virginia Commonwealth University, USA
Established in 1838 Virginia Commonwealth University is ranked in the top 100 research universities by the National Science Foundation. VCU and has a strong research background of more than 100 years. UPES students get the opportunity to be a part of the research semester Exchange with VCU for engineering and computer science programs and since 2017 student and faculty exchanges are open with the help of MoU between the universities.
