I was involved in developing a White paper titled “Network Printing Systems”. It explains the technical aspects involved in developed networked printing products. Samsung is a pioneer in developing Printing solution, and the paper explains the approach taken by Samsung in order to deliver latest print functionalities.
A Print Server is a device that is designed to provide a simple and efficient network printing solution. The architecture in the print servers uses IPP as native protocol. Print data can be received from the local application and from the outside world by this approach. The print clients send the data over the Ethernet to print the data. The printing protocols such as LPD (UNIX), SMB (WINDOWS) are implemented as daemons at the receiving end. IPP server is build over HTTP server.
INVENTED AN IDEA FOR FUTURE FAX MACHINES WHICH CAN INCORPORATE AUTOMATIC/NOISELESS DOWNLOAD OF FAX DATA.
I MANAGED TO STORE THE RECEIVED FAX DOCUMENTS AUTOMATICALLY INSIDE THE FAX MACHINE MEMORY AND CONTROLLED ALL THE SOUNDS USING THE SINGLE BUTTON ON THE FAX MACHINE OR BY USING THE USER MENU.
