Dr. Jaspreet Kaur

Dr. Jaspreet Kaur works in the domain of Supply Chain Finance and Fintech. Her Ph.D. research focuses on supply chain finance practices in small and medium enterprises in the manufacturing sector in India. She is also working on the applications of latest technologies like Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and IoT in Finance. She has published her research work in some of the most reputed journals in her area.

Before joining UPES, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur was a research scholar at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. She has a teaching experience of four years as an assistant professor at Lovely Professional University where she taught students from different countries.

Dr Kaur’s teaching philosophy focuses on creating a stimulating educational environment for the students. Her teaching methods aim to create an atmosphere where students can meet their maximum potential. Dr. Jaspreet has developed a curriculum that matches industry standards and enhances the employability of students. She believes that case-based teaching is one of the best methods to teach real-time management practices to the students.

Dr. Jaspreet teaches subjects in the area of Corporate Finance which includes ‘Capital Raising Strategies’, ‘Green and Sustainable Finance’, and ‘Fintech’. She is exploring diverse financing methods available for the industry and investigating the role of technology in finance.

Dr. Jaspreet received a full-term doctoral fellowship from the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi, India.
