  • SCIENCE & ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD (SERB) File No:  AV/VRI/2020/0013 Title: Drives used in Automation Technology Cost of Project = INR 1.5 Lakhs.  Description: The course deals with introduction to PLC, Hydraulics system and pneumatic system to complete design. Design of hydraulic and pneumatic system is key to effective utilization of any Mechanical Application. Selection of hydraulic and pneumatic elements, sizing of elements, calculations for optimization, design of entire system is very vital in any mechanical industry. During the course, a complete to PLC, Hydraulics system and pneumatic system design will be carried out from concept to final design with hands on session.  Status: Ongoing 
  • University of Petroleum & Energy Studies. Title: Design development of solar tree of 2KW system.  Cost of Project = INR 4 Lakhs.  Description: Sunlight is often deemed as the only abundant and truly “free” energy resource. Among all the different techniques available to harness solar energy, the most popular and mature technology is the photovoltaic conversion of sunlight into electricity. Despite its merits, solar PV technology has issues with the land requirement (especially in urban areas), capture efficiency and public perception (due to the absence of pleasing aesthetics). The concept of a solar tree is capable of addressing these problems effectively with elegance. In this project an attempt is made to demonstrate the components of the solar tree and its design. Through 2KW system output is given to Fire proof and water proof USB with 5V/2.4A/8USB, Plastic body, USB output: 2.4 A, 4 three pin Input: 220-240V AC and 11 LED light in periphery of tree which makes system more ascetically compatible during night time.  Status: Completed 
  • University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Title: Development and installation of 10 electric cycle for in and around the Campus.  Cost of Project = INR 6 Lakhs.  Description: Any type of bicycle with an integrated electric motor that can be used for propulsion. In some models, the motor does not work without pedalling, while in others the motor can be used exclusively to power the bicycle. Features of the product: Speed selection Mode, Inbuilt charging socket, Clock, Speedometer, Storage box, Foot rest and LED lamps. Specifications of the gravel: 320 watt, 400 rpm, 48v BLDC hub motor for high torque. 48v, 10ah lithium ion battery, controller 48v, 13a, twist type throttle, pedal assist sensor, Electric horn, led light, 2 break lever with break sensor, Mobile charging holder, Back side break indicator  Status: Ongoing 
  • DST- Technology Development & Transfer (TDT) Division for TEC Name of the Project: Development of Technology Enabling Center for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Laboratory Objective:
    1. Deployment of an ecosystem for technology development and advancement in the field of electric and hybrid vehicles to cater the significantly increasing demands in transportation sector across the country and to network with the field researchers/OEMs/industrialists from other institutes/national laboratories/industries.
    2. Establishment of state of the art facilities in the field for validation of the developed technologies in the center (TEC for electric and hybrid vehicles).
    3. To Impart the skill sets to undergraduate/postgraduate/Ph.D. students and corporate training on current technologies to the research community. Cost of Project = INR 475.5 lakhs Status: Reject in last round of selection Process.
