National Assessment and Accreditation Council
UPES was accredited with Grade A and CGPA 3.02. (1st March 2021 – 28th February 2026). The NAAC Accreditation visit for 2nd cycle was conducted from 25th – 27th February 2021.
Established by Uttrakhand State Government
UPES was established in the year 2003 through the UPES Act (2003) of the State Legislature of Uttrakhand and listed under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 and has expanded the UPES charter under the ‘UPES (Amendment) Act, 2018. Click here for the letter of establishment.

Two programs of UPES’s School of Business - Master of Business Administration (Oil and Gas Management) and Master of Business Administration (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) have received specialized accreditation through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), USA.
