Profile Summary
With extensive experience in startup mentoring, incubation management, and academia, Dr. Vaibhav Tripathi specializes in fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems. In the incubation sector, Dr. Tripathi established and managed both incubation and pre-incubation centers, mentoring over 50 startups. As a faculty member, he teaches Entrepreneurial Skills, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Business Modelling, Business Planning, Business Research, and Business Statistics, and he co-guides three Ph.D. scholars. He has successfully conducted workshops and FDPs, receiving funding from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. His research includes few Scopus-indexed/ABDC publications, and he serves as a reviewer for ABDC ‘A’ and ‘B’ category journals. He also published a case study in Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies .Additionally, Dr. Tripathi authored a book detailing the entrepreneurial journeys of 22 successful entrepreneurs, providing valuable insights and inspiration for aspiring business leaders.
Work Experience
Dr. Vaibhav Tripathi has over 14 years of experience in academia and entrepreneurial development. He has established incubation center, developed entrepreneurial programs, and mentored numerous startups. He has taught entrepreneurship, innovation, research, and strategic management, while also conducting workshops and events to foster entrepreneurial skills among students. Additionally, he has designed curricula, delivered sessions, and coordinated with various stakeholders to enhance entrepreneurial education. His roles have consistently involved developing entrepreneurial ecosystems and supporting student and startup growth.
Research Interests
Dr. Vaibhav Tripathi's research interests focus on developing entrepreneurial skills and understanding the factors that contribute to the success of entrepreneurs in challenging economic conditions. He studies the impact of entrepreneurship on economic development, particularly in economically lagging regions. His work also explores the influence of social and systemic factors on business growth, and he aims to identify effective strategies for fostering entrepreneurship and innovation. Additionally, Dr. Tripathi is interested in the role of entrepreneurship in rural upliftment and the development of sustainable economic practices.

Abdul Kalam Technical University to conduct an FDP on "Practicing Entrepreneurship & Innovation." . Dr. Tripathi qualified the UGC NET in Management. Dr. Vaibhav Tripathi has authored and co-authored numerous publications in esteemed journals indexed in Scopus and ABDC listings, focusing on entrepreneurship, small business management, regional and rural economies, and retail sectors. His scholarly work includes a notable case study titled "Sahaj Crafts: the challenge of alleviating poverty in Western Rajasthan," published in Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies.
Dr. Tripathi serves as a reviewer for several ABDC ‘A’ and ‘B’ category journals, contributing to the academic rigor of research in entrepreneurship and business studies. His research interests also extend to exploring the impact of economic growth initiatives on regional economies and the adoption of innovative business models.
