Parth Raval

Parth Raval is a seasoned Industrial Designer who blends utility, usability, and user experience to create solutions that are both functional and meaningful. With a Master of Design from IIT Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, he bridges technical precision with creative innovation. His expertise spans new product development, emerging technologies, immersive media, and strategic design management, enabling him to transform conceptual ideas into impactful, market-ready solutions. In his professional journey, he has successfully led state-of-the-art projects for the Gujarat Police, Crime Branch Department Gujarat, and ISRO, and has mentored twelve IPR-registered projects to date—eight of which received full government funding totalling ₹30,00,000—demonstrating his commitment to fostering innovation with real-world impact.

Parth’s research interests include emerging technologies, additive manufacturing, immersive media, and industrial design.

As a design educator with a background in engineering and over several years of academic and industry experience, Parth believes in cultivating reflective, future-ready designers through hands-on, human-centred, and tech-integrated learning. His teaching blends iterative prototyping, immersive media, and emerging technologies to help students engage meaningfully with real-world challenges. Drawing from his research in emerging technologies and defence-focused design, he emphasizes contextual relevance, inclusive thinking, and critical inquiry. He views the classroom as a collaborative studio—where curiosity is ignited, tools become enablers of empathy, and students evolve into agile problem-solvers equipped for a rapidly changing world.
