Dr. Dipika Gupta

Prof. Dipika Gupta is an accomplished Professor of Computer Science who began her academic career in 2011.

She is passionate about multidisciplinary research that integrates Deep Learning with surveillance applications, with notable work in Moving Object Segmentation published in reputed SCIE journals such as Springer Nature.

Her academic interests include Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Database Management Systems, and Formal Languages and Automata Theory, reflecting her strong foundation in both theoretical and applied computer science.

Before joining UPES, Prof. Dipika Gupta has over 4 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Engineering.

She has taught a wide range of subjects including Modelling and Simulation, Artificial Intelligence, Wireless Networks, Mobile Communication, and Cryptography and Network Security, and has also served as Head of the Cultural Committee at DIT University, Dehradun.

Prof. Dipika Gupta actively researches emerging paradigms in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, focusing on innovative and impactful applications.

She has published several papers in reputed Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals such as Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing, and Multimedia Tools and Applications.

She also serves as a reviewer for prestigious A* category journals including The Journal of Supercomputing, contributing to the academic research community.
