Program Details

The BA in Artificial Intelligence & Law is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program designed to prepare students for the evolving intersection of law and technology. The program integrates foundational legal education with emerging technological domains such as artificial intelligence, data governance, algorithmic accountability, and digital platform regulation.

Students develop a grounding in core legal subjects alongside interdisciplinary courses in AI and technology law. The curriculum introduces areas such as programming fundamentals, cyber law, AI ethics, data governance, and emerging regulatory fields including metaverse, robotics, and drone law.

With a strong focus on legal research, policy analysis, and technological literacy, the program prepares graduates to engage with regulatory and governance challenges in the digital economy.

Eligibility

Interested students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements for BA AI and Law as stated below: Minimum 50% Marks at Higher and Senior Secondary level (X and XII).

Selection Criteria

The process of selection criteria for students interested in pursuing BA AI and Law offered by UPES is based on the individual's performance in CUET-UG/ Personal Interview.
