Dr. Anand Kumar received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Reva Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore, under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Karnataka, India in 2015. He obtained his M.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Jharkhand, India in 2019, and completed his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, India in 2024. He has published several peer-reviewed research papers in journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include underwater acoustic communication and networking, channel estimation, underwater target detection and localization, machine learning, and analog signal processing.
Work Experience
Dr. Anand Kumar's career includes serving as a Project Associate in the area of underwater sensor networks, supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST, Government of India, from October 2021 to January 2023. During this time, he made significant contributions to advancing research in this specialized field. Additionally, he served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Information and Communication Technology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, from October 2023 to May 2024. In this role, he played a vital part in curriculum development and student mentorship, showcasing his dedication to fostering academic excellence.

Dr. Anand Kumar's research interests include underwater acoustic communication and networking, channel estimation, underwater target detection, localization, machine learning, and analog signal processing. He explores innovative methods to enhance data transmission, improve signal reliability, and develop robust communication systems for underwater environments, driving advancements in technology and exploration.
