Dr. Anand Kumar

Dr. Anand Kumar received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Reva Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore, under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Karnataka, India in 2015. He obtained his M.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Jharkhand, India in 2019, and completed his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, India in 2024. He has published several peer-reviewed research papers in journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include underwater acoustic communication and networking, channel estimation, underwater target detection and localization, machine learning, and analog signal processing.

Dr. Anand Kumar's career includes serving as a Project Associate in the area of underwater sensor networks, supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST, Government of India, from October 2021 to January 2023. During this time, he made significant contributions to advancing research in this specialized field. Additionally, he served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Information and Communication Technology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, from October 2023 to May 2024. In this role, he played a vital part in curriculum development and student mentorship, showcasing his dedication to fostering academic excellence.

Dr. Anand Kumar's research interests include underwater acoustic communication and networking, channel estimation, underwater target detection, localization, machine learning, and analog signal processing. He explores innovative methods to enhance data transmission, improve signal reliability, and develop robust communication systems for underwater environments, driving advancements in technology and exploration.

Dr. Anand Kumar prioritizes creating an inclusive, interactive learning space where students feel valued and empowered. He blends real-world applications with diverse teaching methods to cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Encouraging curiosity and resilience, he equips students with the confidence and ethical values necessary to navigate the evolving academic and professional landscapes, fostering a lifelong passion for learning and growth.

Dr. Anand Kumar has taught Discrete Structures, Logic Design, Soft Computing, and Robotics at his previous institute. These courses encompass foundational concepts in discrete mathematics, digital circuitry, fuzzy logic, and neural networks, equipping students for dynamic careers in computer science and robotics with a strong emphasis on innovative problem-solving approaches.

Dr. Anand Kumar has been dedicated to advancing knowledge in his field through various scholarly endeavors. His publications in esteemed journals cover critical topics such as underwater acoustic communication, channel estimation, analog signal processing, and machine learning, enriching academic discourse and driving progress. Dr. Kumar's engagement extends to presenting findings at prestigious conferences, fostering collaboration. He has worked as a Project Associate in underwater sensor networks, supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. Furthermore, he has also published patents underscores his innovative contributions and commitment to advancing technology within his field. Actively involved in curriculum development, Dr. Kumar ensures students access cutting-edge advancements and practical experiences, fostering a new generation of scholars committed to excellence.
