Placements 2021

At UPES, we have always been at the forefront of industry-oriented, future-ready, and world-class education. And this philosophy of ours has propelled us to turn crisis into opportunities and emerge victorious. Starting the placement season for 2021 with more than 2,000+ students receiving over 2,650 offers is a testimony to our ethos. The initial weeks of the placement season witnessed encouraging hiring by top recruiters like Deloitte USI, LTI-Larsen & Toubro InfoTech Ltd, Wipro Limited, ESRI, Accenture, ICF International, GEP Worldwide, among others. 

Additionally six students from the School of Business, were internationally placed at a package on 27 Lacs per annum, with the Mount Meru Group. 

100% placement in B.Tech Programs.

Placements 2019-2020

Placements 2019-2020 ended with a positive note with 2,311 placements and with 2,844 offers from top-notch companies to date.

One of the students, Saksham Kumar, from B. Tech Computer Science Engineering, has received the highest package of INR 45 LPA so far from a leading gaming company in the Netherlands. Kamal Dua, Abhishek Paharva and Kartik Singh, also from the School of Computer Science, have each landed a package of INR 30 LPA.

School of Design and School of Computer Science has closed with 100 % placements in record time with an average CTC of INR 6.30 and 5.36 LPA, respectively.

Summer internships

Summer Internships are mandatory for all graduates and post-graduate students. The minimum duration of summer internships is eight weeks and goes to a maximum of six months.

Career Services Department and faculty members from respective domains play an important role in ensuring all students get an opportunity to experience corporate life and culture through these internships. Every year our students undergo summer internships with reputed organisations. Internships help students comprehend and develop their career interests, work with prospective employers and potentially secure job offers. Sector leaders across Aviation, Law, Oil and Gas, Power, Infrastructure, Logistics & Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Design, and Transportation, etc., have shown interest in assessing the capabilities of our students through this internship-based engagement process.
