Program details
The B.Com. (Banking and Insurance) is an undergraduate program, co-designed with EY India, that builds a strong foundation in commerce, banking, insurance and financial services—aligned with a highly regulated, technology-led financial ecosystem. The curriculum blends core commerce with specialised learning in banking operations, insurance management, risk and compliance, financial markets, accounting, taxation and regulatory frameworks, with ~270 hours delivered by EY India faculty.
Students gain practical understanding of the Indian banking system, central banking and monetary policy, along with insurance fundamentals such as underwriting and claims management. The program also introduces emerging areas such as digital banking, fintech and insurtech, while strengthening professional skills in communication, data interpretation, ethical decision-making and financial analysis.

Eligibility
The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Com (Hons) in E-Commerce to be fulfilled by interested students is as follows: Minimum 50% marks in Classes X and XII.
Selection Criteria
The process of selection criteria for students interested in pursuing B.Com (Hons) in E-Commerce offered by UPES is based on the individual's performance in Personal Interview.
