Rajiv Nandwani

Rajiv Nandwani is an accomplished technology and higher education leader with over three decades of experience in digital transformation, enterprise systems and academic innovation. He has held senior technology and transformation roles across organisations such as HCL, Cognizant, Tata Communications, IndiGo Airlines, Birlasoft, Bennett University and other leading IT services firms. His work has spanned AI and machine learning, data engineering, cloud computing, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, digital and data strategy, product development and smart, technology-enabled campuses.

In higher education, he has led initiatives in curriculum innovation, experiential and project-based learning, digital learning ecosystems, research enablement and intellectual property creation. At UPES, his focus is on strengthening emerging technology domains, deepening industry partnerships, enabling impactful research and creating flexible, contemporary curricula that integrate real-world problem solving into the teaching–learning process. His vision for the School of Computer Science is to nurture ethical technologists, innovators and entrepreneurs who can lead in an increasingly intelligent and connected world.
