Work Experience

Before joining UPES, she was engaged in academic research. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Law from the University of Delhi on the topic "Critical Study of the Legal and Ethical Dimensions of the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Corporate Decision-Making."

She completed her LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Laws from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, and holds an LL.B. degree from the University of Delhi. She has also qualified the UGC-NET examination in Law.

Qualified UGC-NET in Law. Completed an 11-day Faculty Development Programme on Law and Social Sciences jointly organised by Law Teachers India and Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (2025). Completed a Faculty Development Programme on Latest Trends in Forensics, Digi-Tech, and Data Protection conducted by the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science, Lucknow (2025).

Scholarly Activities

Deeksha Singh has published research in reputed journals across contemporary legal themes. Her Scopus-indexed publication includes Regulating Space Debris: Legal Challenges and the Pursuit of Sustainability in Relações Internacionais do Mundo Atual (2025).

Her UGC CARE-listed publications include works on AI ethics, right to food in India, and constitutional implementation challenges. She has also authored peer-reviewed papers on arbitration law, trade secrets, taxation reforms, motion picture censorship, and electoral reforms.
