He is working as Assistant Professor-SG in the Department of Petroleum Engineering & Earth Sciences at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. He received his Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad India in September 2013. After that, he joined as Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Petroleum Engineering at DIT University, Dehradun India from 2013-2018. He has seven years of post-PhD experience in the field of teaching and research. His area of expertise in petroleum production engineering includes sand control, water shutoff, Inflow & outflow performance, artificial lifts, workover, perforation, well stimulation and surface equipment. He has published many research papers in a number of national and international journals of repute and attended many national and international conferences and symposiums. Apart from this, he is a Member of Editorial Board of Journal of Petroleum Engineering and Technology.
