Here is everything you need to know about MBA, UPESMET examination process for the AY 2027-28.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for MBA:

Minimum 50% marks in Class X, XII, and Graduation.

Graduation from a recognized university in any stream.

Interested candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for MBA (Strategic Financial Management in Collaboration with EY) , MBA (AI for Business) - In Knowledge Partnership with EY India , MBA (Financial Technology) - In Knowledge Partnership with EY India , MBA (Investment Banking and Capital Markets) - In Knowledge Partnership with EY India, as specified below:

Minimum 50% marks in class X, XII and minimum 60% marks in Graduation.
Graduation from a recognized university in any stream.

Selection Criteria

Students having minimum eligible MAT/CMAT 2026 score of 70 Percentile will be exempted from UPES Management Entrance Test and will only be called for Group Discussion and Interview if qualified. Valid 50 percentile and above score of CAT 2025/XAT 2026. A score of minimum 400 or above for GMAT, a score of 120 and above in NMAT 2025 / 26 scores will also be accepted.

Process Flow

Aspirants are advised to adhere to the following guidelines:

Mode of Examination – Online
Test duration – 2 hours
Take a Demo Test – TBA
The actual credentials (passkeys) required to appear for the exam will be sent to applicants on their registered mobile numbers one day prior to the exam date.
Personal Interviews are to be conducted after the exam and respective slot bookings.

It is recommended that students take a demo test to gain practice and resolve any queries before the actual examination.

Non-Exam Pathway

MBA Admissions through National Level Tests

Minimum qualifying scores and percentile requirements for AY 2027–28: TBA.
Eligible candidates may be shortlisted for a Personal Interview.

Exam Process

Demo Test: TBA. The updated demo test link for AY 2027–28 will be shared once available.
Exam Slot Booking: TBA. The examination slot booking link will be updated for AY 2027–28.
Login Credentials: Examination login credentials and instructions will be communicated to candidates through their registered email ID and mobile number.
