3. Critical Care Support Roles – Assist clinical teams with patient monitoring and equipment preparation, subject to role-specific training and eligibility.
4. Trauma and Emergency Care Support Roles – Prepare equipment and support healthcare teams during emergency procedures within the assigned scope of practice.

The Bachelor of Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology (B.AOTT) at UPES is a four-year undergraduate program offered by the School of Health Sciences and Technology in collaboration with industry partner Virohan. It prepares students for roles in operation theatres, anaesthesia support, critical care units, and surgical services.

Students who have passed Class 12 with 50% aggregate in five core subjects, passed all core subjects individually, and studied PCB are eligible to apply. Candidates must also meet the minimum age requirement shared for the relevant intake.

The B.AOTT program is four years long. It includes three years of academic learning in smart classrooms, simulation-based training, hands-on practical sessions, and one year of internship in healthcare organisations.

Graduates can build careers as anaesthesia technologists, operation theatre technologists, critical care technologists, trauma care technologists, post-anaesthesia care unit technologists, and surgical equipment specialists.
