​Dr. Madhu Mutyam is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), specializing in Computer Architecture. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras in 2003. Before joining IIT Madras as an Assistant Professor in 2007, he briefly served as a faculty member at IIIT Hyderabad and was a visiting scholar at Penn State University.

Dr. Mutyam's research interests focus on heterogeneous computing systems, multicore architectures, interconnection networks, and secure processor microarchitecture. He has been recognized for his contributions to the field, receiving the IIT Madras Young Faculty Recognition Award in 2014 and the UKIERI Research Award from the British Council in 2011.

As a Senior Member of both the IEEE and the ACM, Dr. Mutyam actively contributes to the advancement of computer architecture research. His extensive publication record reflects his commitment to addressing complex challenges in memory subsystem design, networks-on-chip, and shared resource management.
