LAW Programs through Board Merit/ CLAT Merit/ L-SAT India Merit

Candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria to participate in the GDPI process:

CLAT Merit / L-SAT India Merit

 

  • For BA LLB (Hons.)/BBA LLB (Hons.)/B.Com LLB (Hons.): Candidates are exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude test and will directly be invited for the GD and Interview if they meet the following criteria –
    • Minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th)
    • CLAT ranking up to 10000/LSAT India score of 60% or above
  • For B. Tech LLB (Hons.): Candidates will be exempted from UPES-EAT and admissions through merit ranking if they meet the following criteria –
    • Minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th)
    • Minimum 50% Marks in PCM at Senior Secondary Level (12th)
    • CLAT ranking upto 10000/LSAT India score of 60% or above

Board Merit

  • For BA LLB (Hons.)/BBA LLB (Hons.)/B.Com LLB (Hons.): Candidates are exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test (UL-SAT) and will be invited directly for GD and Interview if they meet the following criteria:
    • Minimum 85% marks in 10th and 12th (best of five with English as a compulsory subject).
  • For B. Tech LLB (Hons.): Candidates are exempted from UPES-EAT and will be admitted through Merit Ranking, if they meet the following criteria:
    • Minimum 70% marks in 10th and 12th (PCM).
  Age Criteria

Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1997, are eligible to apply for admission (as per the Bar Council of India). The DoB that’s recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University Certificate will be taken as authentic.

Up to 20% of all available seats shall be filled through the Board Merit/CLAT/LSAT India Category. If any seat remains vacant, UPES has the right to fill these seats through their UPES Entrance Exam.

Candidates placed in compartment are not eligible for admission to any program of study in the University.
