M.Tech Automation and Robotics Engineering

This program is designed for those who hold bachelor's degrees in the relevant branches of Engineering like Electronics and Communication Engg, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering etc. and are particularly interested in designing , controlling and creating robotic systems.


Students enrolled in this program in Automation and robotics engineering build upon foundational knowledge from their core engineering backgrounds while also learning about the contexts and environments in which robotics are created. Automation and Robotics engineering programs generally require candidates to complete live projects wherein they must design , create and control successful robotic devices. Candidates will also be required to research and write theses.


The courses in master's programs in Automation and robotics engineering are very advanced and students often choose robotics specialties, such as industrial robotics, robotics theory, healthcare robotics, aerospace robotics, computer software robotics, automotive robotics .

  • B. Tech /BE in Electronics/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ CSE/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering / EEE with minimum 60% marks
