About

Judicium 2026, hosted by the UPES School of Law, marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new Moot Court Hall. The facility was inaugurated by the Honโ€™ble Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court, Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta, in the presence of Honโ€™ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with esteemed judges of the High Court.

Designed to strengthen experiential legal education, the Moot Court Hall provides students with a dedicated environment to develop advocacy skills, judicial reasoning, legal argumentation, and practical courtroom experience. The initiative reflects UPES School of Lawโ€™s continued focus on bridging legal education with real-world courtroom practice.

Objective

The objective of Judicium 2026 is to strengthen experiential legal education by providing students with opportunities to develop practical advocacy, judicial reasoning, legal argumentation, and courtroom skills.

Through the newly inaugurated Moot Court Hall, UPES School of Law aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and courtroom practice, creating a professional environment where students can sharpen their legal reasoning, presentation, and advocacy capabilities while preparing for real-world legal practice.
