Amit Kumar earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, specializing in Multiplicative Lie Algebras. With a strong academic foundation, he has contributed extensively to his research area through multiple publications in internationally reputed journals.

Work Experience
Amit has served as a Teaching Assistant at IIIT Allahabad across several undergraduate mathematics courses, including Linear Algebra, Probability & Statistics, and Univariate & Multivariate Calculus. His responsibilities involved conducting tutorials, assisting in course coordination, evaluating assignments, and supporting students academically.

Amit qualified the Joint CSIR-UGC NET in Mathematical Sciences with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for doctoral research support. He also qualified GATE Mathematics.

Amit Kumar has actively engaged in a wide range of scholarly activities that complement his research in algebra. He has presented his work at notable academic platforms, including delivering a talk on the Schur multiplier of finite multiplicative Lie algebras at NISER Bhubaneswar and giving an expert lecture on multiplicative Lie algebras in the Recent Developments in Algebra workshop at IIIT Allahabad. He has also participated in major national and international conferences such as ICDEPRA-2024 at ISI Delhi.
Additionally, he has attended several specialized workshops and advanced schools at institutions including HRI Prayagraj, IIIT Allahabad, and the Annual Foundation School, strengthening his expertise in group theory and related mathematical areas.
