Profile Summary
Dr. Vivek Kumar is a faculty member in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in Fluid–Structure Interactions, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Vortex-Induced Vibrations, Thermal Sciences, and Biophysical Aerodynamics. He earned his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Allahabad, his M.Tech in Thermal and Fluid Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, and his Ph.D. in Thermal and Fluid Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna.
He has been awarded prestigious travel grants from DST and CSIR to present his research internationally, including conferences in California and Minnesota, USA. His current research continues to explore the interplay between fluid dynamics and structural mechanics for advancing engineering and scientific applications.
