Dr. Mayuri Srivastava

Dr. Mayuri Srivastava is an academician, researcher, and case writer with a deep interest in entrepreneurship, sustainability, and strategy. Her work primarily explores how businesses, individuals, and institutions can create meaningful and sustainable impact. She enjoys combining rigorous academic research with real-world business contexts, especially through teaching cases and interdisciplinary scholarship. As a teacher, she believes in making classrooms interactive, reflective, and connected to contemporary challenges. Beyond publications and research, she is passionate about building conversations around responsible business, inclusive growth, and emerging technologies.

Dr. Srivastava is currently working as an Assistant Professor-Senior Scale at UPES, Dehradun, since July 2024. She teaches courses in Strategic Management, ESG, Sustainability in Business, Technology Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. She has also contributed to curriculum revision activities and course development at the university level.

Her research interests lie in sustainable entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and the theorization of entrepreneurship. She is particularly interested in sustainability-oriented entrepreneurial intentions and entrepreneurial behaviour among youth. Her work also explores ESG, inclusivity, circular business models, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. She engages in both conceptual and empirical research using qualitative and quantitative methods. Her research aims to contribute to socially relevant and practice-oriented scholarship.

Dr. Srivastava believes in creating an engaging, application-oriented, and learner-centric classroom environment. Her teaching approach encourages critical thinking, discussion, and practical problem-solving. She integrates contemporary business cases, sustainability perspectives, and interdisciplinary insights into her pedagogy. She also promotes experiential learning through projects, presentations, and case analysis. Her objective is to help students connect academic concepts with real-world managerial challenges.

She has taught courses in Strategic Management, ESG, Sustainability in Business, Technology Strategy, and Entrepreneurial Growth and Strategy. Her courses primarily focus on strategy, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and responsible business practices.

Dr. Mayuri Srivastava received the Case Teaching Scholarship from The Case Centre (UK) in 2026. She has also received a merit-based AI Policy Research Fellowship (Class of 2026) from the Centre for Development of Intellectual Property and Research in collaboration with Google for Education and the Data & Society Research Institute. She was also a finalist in the Fox Case Competition organized by the Fox School of Business, Temple University, USA, in 2025.

Dr. Mayuri Srivastava actively contributes to academic research, case writing, reviewing, and conference participation. She has published research papers in reputed journals. Her teaching cases have been published by Ivey Publishing on themes related to leadership, ethics, branding, sustainability, and diversity. She regularly reviews manuscripts for leading journals and conferences, including BAM, EURAM, INDAM, and Springer and Emerald journals.
