Dr. Mayuri Srivastava

Dr. Srivastava holds a PhD in Management from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. Her research interests are Sustainable Entrepreneurship in emerging economies, ESG and Sustainable Development. Currently, she is working on the identification of macroeconomic factors impacting sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem in India.

Prior to joining the School of Business, UPES, Dr. Srivastava was pursuing her doctoral degree in Management from BIT Mesra. Her doctoral work focused on exploring individual-level antecedents impacting the sustainability-oriented entrepreneurial intentions and behaviour of young individuals in emerging economies.

Dr. Srivastava’s teaching philosophy is rooted in empowering students to become innovative, sustainable and socially responsible leaders. She believes that education should foster critical thinking, creativity and collaboration, preparing students to navigate complex business landscapes and create positive impact.

Dr. Srivastava is currently teaching Principles and Practices of Management and Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring to undergrad students.

While pursuing her post-graduate degree from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, Dr. Srivastava was awarded Silver Medalist (merit-basis) for the batch of 2016-18.

Dr. Srivastava has published her research works in journals of high repute and edited book series. She has presented her scholarly works at various national and international conferences. Additionally, she is a reviewer of esteemed conferences like EURAM, INDAM, and various SCOPUS/WoS indexed journals.
