Profile Summary
Dr. Shalini Singh is an Assistant Professor of International Business and Marketing at the School of Business, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun, India. She did Doctorate in Marketing from DIT University, Dehradun, India. Her research interest is in the area of e-impulse buying. Her research papers are published in Scopus, Web of Science, and ABDC-listed journals and she has presented a number of research papers at many national and international conferences in IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Delhi, UTM Malaysia, MTMI Conference Mauritius, etc.
Work Experience
She has around 12 years of working experience in academics, research, and administration. Earlier she was associated with Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, as a Visiting Faculty and with IMS Unison University, Dehradun, as an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade). Her teaching subjects are International Business and Marketing.

Her teaching philosophy is to inculcate ethics in students by imparting quality education and encouraging critical and empathetic thinking among students for social and environmental upliftment.

Her main teaching areas are International Business and Marketing. She teaches International Marketing, International Business, Marketing Management, and Brand Management.
Scholarly Activities
Shalini Singh is involved in research specifically in e-impulse buying with a special emphasis on antecedents, structural modelling, and cross-cultural aspects. She is also working on sustainable approaches to hospitality and tourism.
