Mayank Mathur is an academic with expertise in data engineering, analytics, and artificial intelligence, supported by international industry experience. He holds a BTech in Computer Science from JIIT Noida, a Master’s in Business Intelligence and Analytics (University of Law, UK in partnership with GISMA Berlin), and an MBA in Artificial Intelligence (IU University of Applied Sciences, Berlin, in collaboration with London South Bank University). 

Prior to academia, he worked as a Data Engineer at BuildingMinds (Schindler Group), Germany, contributing to ESG data platforms, sustainability analytics, and large-scale real estate data systems. 

He is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from IIT Patna, focusing on AI-driven carbon footprint modelling for real estate assets. His work lies at the intersection of applied AI, sustainability analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

Work Experience

Mayank brings over two years of international industry experience as a Data Engineer at BuildingMinds (Schindler Group), Germany. 

His work involved building data pipelines, managing ESG datasets, and enabling sustainability reporting and analytics for global real estate portfolios.

He also mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students on analytics-driven projects, guiding research design, methodology, and applied data analysis.
