Dr. Namshad

Dr. Namshad is an applied economist specialising in open-economy macroeconomics, international finance, and financial stress dynamics. He holds a PhD in Economics from Pondicherry University, along with an MBA in Financial Management, bringing a strong quantitative and interdisciplinary perspective to teaching and research. 

His work focuses on policy-oriented economic analysis and financial modelling, with publications in ABDC-indexed journals and presentations at national and international conferences. He teaches across macroeconomics, finance, and econometrics, combining analytical rigour with real-world policy relevance.

Dr. Namshad has served as a Teaching Assistant at Pondicherry University, delivering courses in macroeconomics and time-series econometrics. He has also worked as a Research Executive at Zodha Research Solutions, contributing to applied research and policy report development.

His teaching emphasises strong conceptual foundations supported by data-driven analysis. He encourages students to interpret economic developments through empirical evidence, modelling, and simulation.

Dr. Namshad’s research focuses on macroeconomic policy, financial markets, and econometric modelling. His work integrates data-driven methods and emerging techniques such as machine learning for risk modelling and policy analysis. 

He has published in ABDC-indexed journals and presented his research at major national and international conferences.
