Dr. Navneet Rajoria is an academic in economics specialising in development economics, gender studies, and public policy. He holds a PhD from Doon University and brings over four years of teaching experience across UPES and MPG College, HNBGU. 

His work integrates technology-enabled pedagogy with policy-oriented research, with contributions to interdisciplinary projects, publications, and curriculum development. He is actively involved in academic administration, accreditation processes, and research initiatives, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills among students.

Work Experience

Dr. Rajoria is currently Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) at UPES. He has previously taught at MPG College (HNBGU) and served at UPES (2019–2023), contributing to both the School of Law and School of Business. 

His teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate courses, alongside mentoring students, supervising research, and contributing to curriculum and academic initiatives.

Dr. Rajoria has contributed to multiple funded research projects, including ICSSR-supported studies on disaster economics and government-led policy research in Uttarakhand. He has also worked on projects related to child vulnerability mapping in Himalayan regions and gender-focused policy evaluation. 

Scholarly Activities

Dr. Rajoria’s research focuses on economic policy, gender, and sustainable development, with publications and presentations across academic and policy platforms. 

He has contributed to ICSSR-sponsored research, government consultancy projects, and policy evaluation studies, and actively collaborates with institutions such as the Government of Uttarakhand on development initiatives. 

His academic engagement includes mentoring student research, supporting NEP 2020 and NAAC processes, and contributing to interdisciplinary and policy-oriented academic work.
